Who is Vitto?
Wife, mother, a woman who is passionate about art and Guatemala.
Plastic artist, fashion designer who expresses her vision through contemporary design. She has participated in several national and international expos in which she has payed homage to Guatemala through her designs inspired in its natural resources and culture.
During the past 10 years, the Jaspe by Vitto designs have been shown in international platforms, such as the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and catwalks like the World Expo in Dubai; it also has been mentioned in the media, including the prestigious Vogue Magazine.
It has been part of Guatemala’s Fashion Week since 2018 and presented its new collection in 2023: #Danza, which incorporates a new fashion concept through the use of Art-pliqués. Each piece is a canvas that can be personalized with interchangeable artistic appliqués.
The Art-pliqués are interchangeable artistic appliqués, designed by Vitto Murga, making use of techniques, raw materials, and elements of our Guatemalan ancestral culture, created by artisans from different Guatemalan communities, redefining the concept of the Art-appliqué.
In 2023, the Department of Finance granted her the distinguished “Sello Blanco”, given to Guatemalan companies that develop high quality products that have the ability to export products that focus on social responsibility.
Vitto is convinced that Guatemala has been a cradle for pioneers that have woven their name in the textile industry, erecting themselves as icons of global excellence. She states: “We have the necessary elements to position ourselves as leaders in the fashion sphere, globally.”

Sustainability begins at home. Our fabrics come from local sources which means we are committed to the preservation of our country’s resources.
When we make use of textiles produced by rural communities and manufactured by artisanal hands, not only do we provide an impulse for the local economy, but we contribute to the preservation of ancestral techniques.
We believe in designs that transcends fleeting fashion trends, and become a traveling partner.
